The RoleAs a Trainee Planning & Building Officer , you’ll work alongside the Director of Planning & Environment, gaining experience in planning, building certification, and environmental health. This four-year traineeship provides structured development while you complete relevant qualifications. You’ll assist with the NSW Planning Portal, process applications, conduct inspections, and provide support on compliance matters. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career while contributing to essential community services. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport planning and environmental operations within Council Manage applications and documents in the NSW Planning Portal Assist in assessing development, building, and compliance applications Conduct inspections for pools, plumbing, and general compliance Provide excellent customer service and timely support About YouWe’re looking for someone eager to learn, committed to training, and ready to contribute to our team.
