is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch, with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater.Job Description

Due to strong internal growth, the position of Victorian AIR Group Officerwithin our Melbourne AIR Sampling Division is expanding, and we are seeking candidates for this exciting opportunity.The

‘AIR Group Officer’

is responsible for assisting and learning all aspects of AIR emission testing to provide our NATA accredited sampling services to a wide variety of industrial clients. In addition, the role may also encompass report preparation, assistance with maintenance and calibration of sampling equipment as well as demonstrate a willingness to embrace new skills sets. Our Officers get hands-on experience collecting data while spending time both sampling outdoors and reporting indoors.About you:To be successful for the position, you will ideally possess the following:Previous experience in a hands-on, active role.Desire to continually learn and gain experience across different industries.Good communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.Confident and comfortable in the outdoors.Established skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to work in industrial settings.An understanding and appreciation for Health & Safety protocols.While not imperative, possessing prior experience and/or familiarity with AIR sampling methodologies, including Dust Deposition, Stack Sampling, and Hygiene Monitoring, would be advantageous.Strong initiative with the ability to work in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task & manage time effectively.Flexibility with regional/interstate workCurrent Drivers LicenceThe ideal candidate will be willing to roll their sleeves up and learn on the job while also contributing to a dynamic and productive team.Qualifications

Relevant industry experience in air quality will be advantageous but not essential.Additional Information
