About the role: An exciting opportunity for someone with experience in sales administration or customer service to join a market leader in the rural industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, becoming the first point of contact for inquiries and provide exceptional service via email and over the phone Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, warehouse, and despatch teams to manage inventory levels, transportation, and distribution across Australia, with a focus on rural areas Handle credit approvals, disputes, and reconciliation in alignment with company policies Serve as the primary point of contact for rural distributors, providing exceptional support and fostering long‑term relationships Provide accurate quotes and address general customer queries, converting them into sales opportunities where possible Oversee the end‑to‑end process of order fulfilment, ensuring orders are processed accurately, timely, and in line with customer expectations Quickly address customer complaints, utilising our quality management system and working closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and closure of issues Continuously look for new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition Work closely with sales team members on the road, providing them with the information and resources needed to succeed We are looking for a team player who is able to manage competing priorities Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or logistics Ability to build relationships with existing customers and resolve issues effectively and efficiently Detail‑oriented and committed, prioritizing accuracy and efficiency in every task Experience working in wholesale, logistics, and the distribution of physical goods is a strong advantage Sound knowledge of agricultural and rural products highly regarded Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Experience using Salesforce or other CRMs highly regarded Experience in a SAP ERP is desirable Benefits Generous parental leave: 20 weeks paid Primary Carer Leave and 3 weeks paid Partner Leave for those who have worked at the business for at least 12 months Superannuation contributions for the Primary Carer during the period of unpaid parental leave for eligible employees (limitations apply) Access to long‑service leave after 5 years: Employees not covered by an Enterprise Agreement can access accrued Long Service Leave (LSL) at a rate of 1.3 weeks per year of service after 5 years continuous service Employee Benefits Program: discounts for employees, friends and family on a huge selection of products and services from a variety of brands including Samsung, Coles, Harvey Norman, Village Cinemas, Dick Smith, Vodafone, Thrifty and many more Recruitment referral awards for successful employee referrals Corporate rates for private health insurance: Nib Health Insurance offers discounted cover for employees Job Type: Full‑timeEmployment Level: Entry levelJob Function: Administrative and Customer ServiceIndustry: Wholesale Building Materials and Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
