14th November, 2025 Senior Accountant - Parish Finance Services Employment Type: Full-time Location: Brisbane City, Elizabeth Street Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for financial integrity and stakeholder engagement? Parish Finance Services is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead and support financial operations across our parish network. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information through expert-level accounting, reporting, compliance, and process improvement. You'll also provide strategic financial guidance to parish leaders and mentor junior finance staff. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Oversight Supervise and review the work of Assistant Accountants and Accountants Provide guidance on complex accounting matters Support professional development of junior finance staff Financial Operations Prepare and analyse financial statements Maintain and manage Fixed Asset Registers Oversee Accounts Payable processing in MYOB Monitor and resolve outstanding Accounts Receivable and aged invoices Stakeholder Engagement Partner with Parish Priests and Parish Finance Councils to deliver financial insights and support Collaborate with parish leaders to provide commercial and strategic financial advice About You CPA/CA qualified Proven experience in financial reporting, compliance, and team supervision Strong knowledge of MYOB and fixed asset management Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement Why Join Us?
