Regional Sales Manager

The Sales Team is a diverse group of team-oriented individuals that serve as the backbone of the overall sales process. You will never be far from the answers you need, as you will have ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring.The Regional Sales Manager (ANZ) will be based in Melbourne and manage sales and relationships with existing and new Genetec customers (Certified System Integrators), technology partners, consultants, and end users in the assigned territory. The main role is to increase revenues and ensure regular communication with the APAC team and corporate office in Montreal, Canada.What your day will look like:
Develop assigned sales territory for company productsAnalyze region’s new business opportunities, develop sales plans and execute planned action steps in order to acquire new business in line with Company’s strategies and growth objectivesUncover customer’s needs respond to RFI, RFQ, prepare quotes and write proposalsCreate and increase awareness and interest in Genetec’s products and solutions as assignedIdentify, recruit and onboard new channel partners with assigned territoriesPrepare sales forecast and manage the sales pipelineVisit customers at their premisesMeet regional sales objectives by building pipeline, preparing forecasts, budgets, analyzing variances and initiating corrective differentiationMaintain a high level of knowledge on Genetec’s product, roadmaps competition, pricing market share and key product differentiationStay abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical servicesAssist Marketing with local or national initiativesAbout you:
Minimum 5 years experience in Security or IT Industry, with VMS, Access Control, or PSIM systemBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, Engineering or Computer ScienceExcellent presentation skillsProven sales achievement/track recordTechnical Requirements:
Ability to work in a complex sales environmentExcellent communicator either by phone, in writing or face-to-faceExperience in the security or IT industry with ability to maintain contacts at different levelsExcellent at managing time, priorities and expensesAbility to establish good relationships and credibility with customers, integrators, consultantsAble to work independently within a team environmentIP technology understanding and networking expertise will be considered an asset
