Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Lead the creation and execution of national commercial sales strategies that position Zip Water for continued growth, identifying target segments, defining go‑to‑market approaches, and turning plans into actionable initiatives that drive revenue, profitability, and long‑term market share expansion. Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with major clients, partners, and key decision makers, positioning Zip Water as a strategic partner by understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and supporting long‑term business outcomes. Business Development Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities across commercial sectors, pursue strategic partnerships, expand channel presence, and proactively seek opportunities that enhance Zip’s market position and support sustainable revenue growth. Market Insights Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer behaviours, and industry changes, translating insights into proactive recommendations that keep Zip Water ahead of market shifts, innovate, and respond to emerging opportunities. Reporting & Forecasting Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts, budgets, performance metrics, and insights to senior leadership, using data to inform decision making, assess performance, and drive continuous improvement across the sales function. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner closely with marketing, product, operations, service, and customer experience teams to ensure alignment across all stages of the commercial process, contributing to integrated planning, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives that enhance overall commercial performance. Contract Negotiation Lead end‑to‑end negotiation processes with key commercial clients, ensuring agreements are commercially sound, aligned with strategic objectives, and deliver long‑term value for both the customer and Zip Water. What You’ll Bring A proven track record in senior commercial or B2B sales leadership, ideally in a national or multi‑regional capacity, with experience driving growth in competitive and fast‑paced environments. Commercial Acumen & Strategic Thinking – strong capability to analyse markets, identify opportunities, evaluate risks, and develop effective commercial strategies, balancing long‑term planning with day‑to‑day operational execution. Leadership & Team Development – demonstrated success building, developing, and motivating high‑performing sales teams, skilled in coaching, fostering ownership, and shaping a positive and results‑driven team culture. Communication & Relationship‑Building Skills – exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams at all levels.
