Business Development Representative – Sydney Company: National Corporate Housing (NCH) – a multi‑brand global leader in temporary housing program management. Overview National Corporate Housing is actively searching for an outside sales representative to promote all NCH services to new and existing clients in the Sydney region. You will work with a local market team and report to the Regional Director, using a strategic selling approach to market local housing products to decision makers within businesses that fit NCH’s ideal client profile. The role requires a professional image, strong communication skills, business‑development focus, and excellent customer‑service abilities. Responsibilities Work with a local market team and report to the Regional Director to strategically focus sales efforts on generating year‑round profitable business opportunities. Generate revenue through new business opportunities using a consultative selling approach. Work in concert with clients to understand their strategic initiatives and create maximum economic impact for the organization. Grow existing client revenue by presenting all product and service lines to different segments within each organization. Manage and implement referral and strategic property‑management programs with targeted local properties and property‑management companies. Manage multiple concurrent sales cycles and client portfolios effectively. Maintain all sales activity and sales‑cycle progress in CRM. Use analytical skills, industry trends, and client analysis to forecast revenue growth. Develop and maintain long‑term professional relationships at multiple levels. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Prefer candidates have 3‑5 years professional sales experience. Strategic thinking – ability to systematically solve problems and hypothesize customer pain points, expectations and implicit needs. Communication skills – tailor communication to the customer’s needs with authority; use rational and emotional drivers to facilitate negotiation. Strong verbal and written communication skills. MUST be a hunter, business development professional. Must be able to offer and implement creative solutions in the selling process. Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with many moving parts and responsibilities. Ownership – complete tasks and drive results with minimal supervision. Set clear, realistic and time‑bound objectives aligned to business growth. Travel may be required; reliable transportation. Hospitality industry preferred but not required.
