Senior Mental Health Clinician (Community Forensic Mental Health Service) Townsville Hospital and Health Service – Townsville QLD Community Forensic Outreach Service (CFOS) is a team within the Community Forensic Mental Health Service which provides high level clinical and risk assessment and recommendations for the management of mental health consumers who have committed, are alleged to have committed or are at risk of committing an offence. CFOS provides a consultation and liaison role to mental health treating teams within Townsville, North West Queensland and Mackay Hospital and Health Services. As a member of the multidisciplinary Community Forensic Mental Health team, the Senior Mental Health Clinician in CFOS provides high level input into the areas of forensic and mental health assessment, risk assessment, intervention, training and education, supervision and research. All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the Service. Please note - This is a permanent full-time role. Salary range: $210,332 to $266,667 p.a. (L18 - L27) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading, 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available Role Requirements: Mandatory qualification (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work) and registration/membership with relevant association. Possession of class C drivers' licence. Travel is a requirement of this position. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Probation period may apply.
