We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator with experience estimating concrete, reinforcement & formwork. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest construction projects currently taking place in Sydney. About the Role: This is a full‑time position which will see you work on one of our live projects. The Contracts Administrator/Estimator will work closely with BKH Concrete Division Management to maintain current projects and assist with upcoming bids. The Contracts Administrator/Estimator will be responsible for: Putting together progress claims and submitting them to the builder Reviewing IFC contract documentation against tender documentation and identifying any potential differences Measuring drawings and compiling variations using the contractual schedule of rates Playing a part of our estimating team to assist with upcoming bids through full measures and use of BOQs Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications and ensuring that current information is communicated to the site team Reviewing revised drawings to identify and highlight any changes and communicating these to the site team while understanding the implications of any changes on current activities and systems Ensuring that all site works are carried out in accordance with the current documentation and the contract scope of works Monitoring progress and reporting against programmes Documenting site progress by taking daily photographs for site records, completing daily diaries, QA records, progress measures and incorporating them in the monthly reports Other duties as directed by the Project Manager/Site Manager for future responsibilities Promoting and developing a strong safety culture Willingness to work Saturdays Skills and Experience Background in concrete supply, pump & place & reinforcement Previously worked for a minimum of 5 years as a Contracts Administrator & Estimator RMS and B80 experience will be a distinct advantage Experience with builders/principal contractors in NSW Experience working with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project, and Aconex Initiative and a strong ability to work autonomously, independently and with minimal supervision Be self‑driven with the goal to progress your career Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and in‑house teams Provide support to site management and other team members Must have a ‘can‑do’ attitude Ability to work to tight schedules and deadlines Unrestricted right to work in Australia Sound technical ability and ability to read and interpret plans, drawings & specifications and communicate the information to the site team Able to work within a team and learn and develop effective communication skills If you are ready to become part of the team and put your skills towards some of Sydney’s biggest construction projects, then apply now Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Administrative and Engineering Industries Construction and Civil Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr
