About Northern Beaches Hospital Northern Beaches Hospital provides world-class, Level 5 services for both public and private patients. The hospital has 486 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres (including cardiac catheter labs), a world-class education centre, doctors' lounge and excellent staff facilities including a café and car parking. About the role – Part-time Permanent – 46 hours per fortnight As the successful Social Worker Level 1/2, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of clinical care. You will work in partnership with Medical Officers and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide assessment and evidence-based treatment in a coordinated and timely manner, and provide Social Work intervention to a wide variety of patients in acute care including surgical, medical, critical care, emergency, maternity, paediatrics and aged care. You will also be expected to participate in our Social Work weekend on-call crisis roster.
