Responsibilities Provide strategic and pragmatic legal advice in all areas of employment law, including employment agreements and structures, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution and mitigation, policy and procedures, and labor/union negotiations. Review, draft, and update policies, procedures, and playbooks, and guide internal people managers and HR on matters impacting wage and hour and gig economy workers. Manage employment-related disputes and mitigate risk and potential litigation. Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders. Requirements 3-8 years of experience focusing on labour and employment law in Australia. Strong knowledge of Australian Employment Laws and the Fair Work Act. Experience working within a large in-house legal department or with a sophisticated law firm. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
