Responsibilities Provide strategic and pragmatic legal advice in all areas of employment law, including employment agreements and structures, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution and mitigation, policy and procedures, and labor/union negotiations. Review, draft, and update policies, procedures, and playbooks, and guide internal people managers and HR on matters impacting wage and hour and gig economy workers. Manage employment‑related disputes and mitigate risk and potential litigation. Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders. Requirements 3-8 years of experience focusing on labour and employment law in Australia. Strong knowledge of Australian Employment Laws and the Fair Work Act. Experience working within a large in‑house legal department or with a sophisticated law firm. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced legal environment.
