THE ROLE As part of our continuous expansion, we are looking for a talented Regional Strategic Account Manager based in Sydney, you will be focused on developing existing Accounts of T1 & T2 banks and financial institutions with a primary responsible for driving revenue through up and cross selling, and the implementation of the sales strategies as set out by the management. You also will drive the sales cycle from initial contact to signing of deals, and then maintaining a good client relationship, as well as take part in market analysis and relationship building with senior management and key opinion leaders in the banking and financial services sectors. OPPORTUNITIES You will articulate and demonstrate Temenos solutions through strategic value-based selling, build strong business cases, develop a return-on investment analysis, and using other references and industry data to build relationships at multiple levels and ultimately drive deals from inception to close. You will work with customer stakeholders to understand their bank’s strategy, challenges, and opportunities and articulate how Temenos can help them achieve their objectives. You will create value by partnering with technical and non-technical executives to support their transformation journey by showcasing the commercial and technology value of our Product portfolio. You will build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately track quarterly forecasts/revenue. You’ll balance quarterly results while keeping a clear line of sight of strategic and long-term revenue opportunities. You will create and execute account plans which address tactical and strategic opportunities. You will collaborate with various distributed internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of end-to-end sales cycles and ensure the highest level of customer advocacy. SKILLS You should have an in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, including current trends, challenges, and innovations. You should have 15 years of experience selling complex, high-value Digital, CRM, SaaS, or Enterprise sales, including at least 10 years of sales experience in the banking and financial sectors. You should have exposure to and experience working within a global organization. You should have a consultative sales approach that focuses on actively listening to and understanding customer needs. You should have experience engaging with C-suite management at Temenos and client organizations. You should have excellent communication and problem‑solving skills needed to translate business requirements into compelling value propositions for diverse audiences. Recognizing opportunities and diligently managing customer engagements from inception to close is crucial. You should have commercial awareness and strong financial acumen that supports success. Being data‑driven, with the ability to craft stories from data that engage clients, create value, and motivate action, is highly valued. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit, a positive attitude, and tenacity in deal‑making and closing. You should be able to navigate change and manage ambiguity with confidence. A global mindset, team spirit, and a desire to make a meaningful impact are important. You should have an appetite for learning and growth, along with resilience and resourcefulness, that contributes to success. A passion for technology and selling inspires ongoing enthusiasm.
