HR Business Partner Lead - Operations - Full-Time South Metro Depot Forrestdale Step into a key leadership role as a HR Business Partner Lead - Operations, where you will lead a team of HR professionals and deliver strategic and operational HR partnering that supports Western Power’s organisational goals. Your Role in Action Lead, coach and develop the HRBP team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR partnering. Provide expert guidance and act as the escalation point for complex or sensitive HR matters. Ensure HR advice and practices comply with legislation, enterprise agreements and internal policies. Partner with senior leaders to build capability and support effective people management. Collaborate closely across the People function to align initiatives and resolve organisational challenges. Support the implementation of key strategic and business initiatives across the organisation. Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to understand and respond to organisational needs. Drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery and partnering effectiveness. What Makes You a Great Fit Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience) and demonstrated ongoing professional development. Extensive experience at a senior human resources level in a complex medium to large organisation. Sound technical knowledge and understanding of workplace legislation (e.g. Fair Work Act, WHS Act) and enterprise agreements, and extensive practical experience in their application. Experience leading, coaching and developing teams, ideally in a formal leadership or team management capacity. Advanced communication and influencing skills at all levels of an organisation, including with Executive and other senior leadership.
