Unit Helper – Warnbro Wagtail Girl Guides Girl Guides WA are seeking women to join our team of Girl Guide Unit Helpers in Rockingham. The unit meets on Monday afternoons from 4:30pm to 6:15pm and caters to girls aged 5 to 17. Girl Guide volunteers are role models who support young girls to discover their potential as future leaders. Responsibilities Assist Unit Leaders in developing girls’ skills, positive values, and confidence through fun activities. Meet regularly with a group of girls aged 5 to 17 in the Safety Bay Guide Hall. Help create a supportive and safe environment during each 1.75-hour unit meeting. How to Become a Unit Helper Become a member of Girl Guides WA. Complete onboarding requirements, including a Working With Children Check, Police Clearance, and other necessary clearances. Why Join? Unit Helpers report increased all‑round confidence and skills, the joy of helping girls grow, lifelong friendships, and loads of fun. No previous Guiding experience is required.
