The Diverse Collective is seeking passionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our team in Moreton Bay, Brisbane and surrounds. As a casual Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and tailored support to our clients living with disability. IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE Key responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care needs to promote independence and wellbeing Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with clients to help them achieve their recovery goals Facilitate and participate in group activities, programmes and outings that promote social inclusion and community engagement Collaborate with the client's support network, including family members and healthcare professionals, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements Actively participate in team meetings, supervision and training to continually improve service delivery What we're looking for Certificate IV in Mental Health or similar qualification and experience (lived experience is okay) Demonstrated experience providing person‑centred support to individuals living with mental health conditions Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to respond effectively to complex situations Commitment to upholding the rights, dignity and autonomy of clients Flexibility to work a casual roster (availability on weekends, public holidays and some evenings is desirable) Current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation plus NDIS worker screening card What we offer At The Diverse Collective, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment.
