Senior Social Worker – Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS) Location: Orange, NSW Employment Type: Permanent Part Time (Job share may be considered) Position Classification: Social Worker Level 3 Remuneration: $56.69 – $58.52 per hour (plus superannuation and salary packaging options) Hours Per Week: 24 Applications Close: 13 November 2025 – 11:59pm About the Role This is a permanent part-time position for a Senior Social Worker within the Older Persons Mental Health Team (OPMHS) based on the Bloomfield Campus of Orange Health Service. Key Responsibilities Work closely with medical, nursing and allied health clinicians within the unit. Provide support, guidance and supervision to junior Social Work team members. Complete psycho-social assessments in a timely manner and support patients receiving all types of medical intervention and treatment. Maintain broad knowledge of external service providers such as My Aged Care, NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and the NDIS. Participate in regular supervision and engage in quality improvement projects. Undertake professional development opportunities as supported by the organization.
