Veterinary Receptionist - Greencross Chatswood We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented veterinary receptionists to support our team and ensure our clients and their pets receive outstanding care from the moment they walk in. At Greencross Chatswood you will have exposure to a busy practice that will ensure your customer service skills are not wasted – you'll join our supportive, close-knit team where collaboration and a professional attitude are at the heart of everything we do. About the role Part-time position – 10 hours per week Full-time position – 38 hours per week Both positions include working 1 in 2 Saturdays All reception duties including welcoming clients and patients, answering the phone, booking appointments through our patient management programme, receiving and receipting payments, sending and responding to emails, organising patient admission paperwork, banking duties and other administrative tasks. Triaging patients (training provided in induction) Providing general advice on vaccine schedules, food and parasite prevention Qualifications and attributes Previous experience working in a busy receptionist role Minimum Cert II or III Animal Care Qualified preferred Good knowledge and understanding of animals Motivated, driven person Ability to multi-task under pressure with a calm, compassionate demeanour Confident with scheduling systems and basic account management Organised with high attention to detail Ability to deal with a varying workload and prioritise work tasks effectively Accountable and reliable Works well within a team with great communication skills Great customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients easily If this sounds like the role for you, apply today.
