Job Description We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do. As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Service, Kew. Responsibilities Provide personal care provision consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities, and other client‑centred services. Assist residents with daily living tasks, follow directives as per care plan, and uphold resident rights and responsibilities. Deliver high level of customer service and excellent communication skills. Qualifications Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification is essential. Experience in an aged care environment. Personal care that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation. Experience providing services and activities centred around client needs including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities. High level of customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to follow directives as per care plan. Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities. Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC). NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
