We’re now seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands‑on Deli Manager to lead and oversee operations in our Deli & Cheese Bar department for our new store in Westfield Plenty Valley . About the Role: As the Deli Manager , you’ll take full ownership of the deli operations, driving product quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance. You will bring your deep knowledge of smallgoods, cheeses, and gourmet deli items to create an outstanding customer experience while ensuring compliance with food safety and business standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact — not just in day‑to‑day operations, but also through product innovation, supplier relationships, and mentoring your team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end operations of the Deli and Cheese Bar Manage product selection, ordering, supplier relationships, and stock control Maintain exceptional product quality , presentation, and availability Lead and mentor deli staff to ensure high performance and development Drive outstanding customer service standards and in‑store experience Monitor and maintain full compliance with Food Safety and WHS regulations Develop and manage rosters to ensure efficient team coverage and labour costs Analyse and report on sales performance, with a focus on increasing profitability Implement merchandising strategies and product promotions What We’re Looking For: Extensive knowledge and experience in deli operations and smallgoods Proven leadership or management experience in a retail or food environment Strong understanding of food safety standards , HACCP, and WHS regulations A commitment to exceptional customer service and team collaboration Experience with ordering, inventory management , and stock control Ability to drive sales, profitability , and achieve department targets Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills Hands‑on leadership style with a proactive and positive attitude Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts as required Why Join Sacca’s Fine Foods?
