Food Service Assistant, Services - Domestic and Laundry We are seeking dedicated Service Employees - Cleaners to join our team. The Opportunity We currently have casual positions available in our Residential aged care facility. The Service employee-cleaner is responsible for conducting a broad range of cleaning and or/laundry activities under the general direction of the Facility Manager. Key Responsibilities To ensure a safe work environment by adopting safe work practices. Maintain good working relationships with staff, residents and families. Work within the mission statement and philosophy of Southern Cross Care (Tasmania) Inc. to achieve the highest possible standard of care for residents. Always maintain and respect employee, consumer and organisational confidentiality. Actively participate in meetings and discussions in a constructive manner. Work as part of a busy team and be supportive of other team members. Prioritise work load and use care resources effectively and efficiently. Adhere to legislation pertaining to privacy and confidentiality and handling of personal information. What you’ll need: Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards (or the ability to acquire this). Satisfactory national police check within the last three months. Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration with NDIS endorsement. If you are on a visa, a copy of your current IMM I Letter.
