About The Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager- Resources to lead and grow our sales within the resources sector. In this role, you will develop strategic relationships, understand customer needs, negotiate contracts, and execute sales strategies that align with our company's goal of expanding market share. Key Responsibilities Understand customer needs, maintain accurate intelligence within the CRM system, and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Strengthen customer relationships, increase sales contracts, and grow market share by measurable targets set by the Head of Sales. Develop initiatives to improve customers' operations, including supplier consolidation strategies and communicating the company's differentiated Customer Value Proposition both commercially and technically. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders to assess performance and outline key focus areas. Foster teamwork, clear communication, and a culture of trust, accountability, and respect. Participate actively in recruiting and retaining Account Managers by providing learning and development opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, distributors, and strategic customers. Prioritise customer needs to strengthen market leadership and develop distributor capability to grow market share across customers, regions, and segments. About You Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales essential, coupled with 3-5 years' project management experience within a large industrial manufacturing / process dependent organisation highly desirable. Experience in the mining sector, dealing with resource customers and understanding of mining industry strategies and processes is highly desirable. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and networking skills. Strong problem-solving and solution-focused mindset. Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office programs. High drive, personal commitment, and customer-focused attitude. Must hold and maintain a valid AU / NZ driver's licence.
