About This Role The role offers a fixed‑term opportunity until 30 June 2027 with a VPS5 salary range of $113,022 - $136,747 plus superannuation. Proactively supports the delivery of HR policy, processes, and practices and supports delivery of complex case management. About The Business Unit People, Safety, Culture and Communications core functions span the breadth of workplace cultural, and people matters, including human resources policy and strategy; organisational culture and change; recruitment, redeployment, and retention; performance and development; pay, benefits and workforce reporting; occupational health and safety management; and employment regulations. Employee and Workplace Relations is responsible for management of the Justice portfolio's industrial relations program, the management of departmental employee relations issues including employee conduct, the department's Human Resource Business Partnerships and also administers the internal review of actions process. About The Role The HR Business Partner's core functions span the breadth of workplace cultural, and people matters, including human resources policy and strategy; organisational culture and change; performance and development; occupational health and safety management; and employment regulations. What Your Duties Will Include Assisting, mentoring and coaching senior stakeholders and people managers in employee relations matters. Working collaboratively with managers and the central People, Safety, Culture and Communications team. Undertaking complex case management with a focus on early intervention by providing authoritative, expert and strategic advice. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and becoming a trusted advisor on complex strategic issues. About You Experience in case managing a range of complex people matters, with specialist knowledge of employee and industrial relations. Experience and expertise in the provision of high‑level strategic advice and support to executive management. Experience in the provision of HR services in a large complex organisation. Exceptional stakeholder management skills. Qualifications / Requirements A qualification in human resources, organisational development, business and/or other relevant fields.
