This position sits within the Everyday Banking Operations function, supporting critical daily work across the Cash & Transactional Banking Operations business. As part of the Account Adjustments team, you'll handle a variety of operational tasks including payment processing, dishonoured cheque management, complex data handling, and responding to customer and internal queries. You'll be a key point of contact for sensitive and urgent matters, including supporting vulnerable customers and ensuring accurate, timely outcomes for high-value clients. This is a detail-driven, numbers-focused role requiring strong analytical ability and exceptional time management. What you'll be doing: Processing customer payments, adjustments and transactional requests Managing dishonoured cheque workflows with precision Completing complex data processing and reconciliations Handling general account enquiries with clarity and professionalism Providing urgent support for high-value and vulnerable customers Following operational processes with 100% accuracy and compliance Prioritising high-volume tasks in a fast-moving environment Collaborating with the wider team to meet daily service SLAs What you'll bring: Strong numerical ability and analytical thinking Excellent attention to detail – accuracy is absolutely critical in this role Proven time-management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines Confidence dealing with data, financial transactions and customer queries A willingness to learn – full training is provided Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a diverse, high-performing team Background in banking operations, payments or customer service is beneficial, but not essential Long-term potential within one of Australia's leading banking groups If the above looks of interest, please make an application and Manpower will be in contact with you.
