Dynamics 365 Program Manager Location: Sydney CBD – In office five days a week FTC: Up to $250k inc. super per annum Contract Duration: 2 Year Project Start Date: Max 2 weeks' notice Base pay range : A$215,000.00/yr - A$225,000.00/yr The Opportunity One of Australia’s most influential retail brands is rebuilding its core IT system, replacing a complex, legacy ERP with a modern Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform that connects finance, supply chain, retail, manufacturing, and corporate functions into one integrated ecosystem. As the D365 Program Manager, you will lead this end-to-end transformation from discovery and design through to build, test, cutover, stabilisation and continuous improvement whilst working directly with the CIO, senior business leaders and a tier one implementation partner to deliver a program that changes how the business operates every day. What you’ll do: Own the end-to-end Dynamics 365 program across finance, supply chain, retail, operations and corporate functions. Shape and manage the program roadmap, phases and release plan, keeping scope, timeline and outcomes aligned. Lead cross-functional teams across IT, operations and external partners to deliver a single, integrated Dynamics 365 platform. Oversee solution design, environment strategy, data migration, integrations and release management. Run transparent program governance, including steering committees, status reporting, risk management and decision forums. Drive cutover and go-live planning, including rehearsals, readiness checks and hypercare. Partner with change, training and business leaders to drive strong user adoption and tangible business benefits. Manage vendor relationships and performance, holding partners accountable for quality, timelines and value. Track program budget, forecast and benefits, and provide transparent reporting to executive stakeholders. What you bring: 10 plus years of IT program management experience, with a strong track record leading large-scale Dynamics 365 ERP programs. Hands-on experience delivering Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Dynamics 365 CE across complex, multi-site environments. Deep experience across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through build, test, cutover and post go-live optimisation. Strong understanding of both waterfall and agile delivery, and how to apply a hybrid model in an extensive program. Proven ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level, vendors and cross-functional teams. Solid grasp of enterprise process, data and integration concepts, and how they apply within a Dynamics 365 landscape. Experience in retail, manufacturing or similar operational environments is highly regarded. Relevant program or project management certifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent.
