About The Role The Australasian Hair and Wool Research Society and Sinclair Dermatology/DIRECT are seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator (CDC) to manage and maintain a global research registry for alopecia areata. The CDC will work closely with local and international Project Managers and Committee members to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data collected for the global registry, and to support expansion into other countries. The CDC will also provide support to clinical researchers within Sinclair Dermatology/DIRECT. Key Responsibilities Oversee data management tasks including auditing of patient records, quality assurance, data cleaning, validation, and analysis of registry data. Train contributing clinicians and wider study team members on the use of the registry platform. Respond to data‑related queries from stakeholders including Committee members, clinicians, researchers, and management, and liaise with collaborators. Produce updates, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the GRASS platform and related databases; support budget management for the project and funding applications as required. Prepare data for analysis by researchers to support research projects, including data entry, validation, and site file maintenance as required. Skills And Experience Tertiary qualification, preferably in a health sciences or data science field. Proven experience analysing large datasets using R or Python programming languages. Experience with clinical research databases (e.g., RedCAP) and knowledge of research software commonly used in qualitative and quantitative analysis, including Electronic Data Capture (EDC). Experience with clinical research data management, including collection, analysis, validation, and monitoring, as well as data presentations. Highly developed organisational and communication skills. Ability to work cohesively as a team and independently to achieve project outcomes. Ability to work with employees and stakeholders at all levels. Additional Benefits Supportive team environment.
