Centre Director – Job Share Opportunity(On the Floor Mon–Wed, Office-Based Thurs–Fri) Location: Caringbah SouthEmployment Type: Part-Time Job Share Are you a strong leader with a passion for early childhood education, looking for a role that offers balance, support, and variety? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Director to join our team in a unique job-share arrangement. This role provides the perfect mix of hands‑on educational leadership and dedicated office/administration time, ensuring you can stay connected with children and educators while also driving the centre’s operational success. About the Role In this job‑share Director position, you will work Monday to Wednesday on the floor, supporting educators, embedding practice, and maintaining high‑quality learning environments.On Thursday and Friday, you will be office‑based, taking the lead on compliance, administration, staffing, family engagement, financial oversight, and overall centre operations. You will work collaboratively with the co‑Director to ensure consistent communication, shared goals, and a unified approach to leadership. Lead, inspire, and mentor educators to deliver high‑quality programs. Oversee daily operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Build warm, positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Manage enrolments, occupancy strategies, and family communication. Support professional development and performance management. Ensure policies, procedures, and NQS standards are met and exceeded. Collaborate with your co‑Director to ensure smooth, consistent leadership across the week. Proven leadership experience in an early childhood setting. Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, organisation, and people‑management skills. Able to balance administrative duties with hands‑on educational leadership. A team player who thrives in a collaborative job‑share environment.
