Drive Evidence-Based Practice in Child & Youth Mental Health Metro South Health is seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) at Browns Plains Community Health Centre. This temporary part-time HP4 role (45.6 hrs per fortnight, until June 2026) provides advanced clinical services, case management, and leadership in child and youth mental health care. Your New Role As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will provide advanced discipline-specific and multidisciplinary services for children, young people (up to 18 years), and their families experiencing complex mental health concerns. You will contribute to intake, case management, therapeutic interventions, community liaison, and service development. Key Responsibilities Include Delivering high-level assessment, therapeutic interventions, and case management Providing clinical leadership, advice, and supervision to HP3 clinicians, students, and AHAs Undertaking risk assessments and supporting recovery-oriented care planning Developing partnerships with schools, community organisations, and external agencies Contributing to service development, policy, and evidence-based clinical practice improvements Supporting research, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives within CYMHS About you: We are seeking a motivated and resilient clinician with advanced skills in child and youth mental health. You will bring expertise in delivering therapeutic interventions, leadership in multidisciplinary environments, and a strong commitment to recovery-oriented care.
