Senior Insurance Client Services Officer We are a growing specialist insurance advice firm based in North Sydney, helping clients protect their families, businesses and lifestyles. Due to strong growth and increasing client demand, we’re looking for a senior, hands-on operations/admin professional to help us maintain high standards of service, efficiency and compliance. The Role This is a senior support role for someone who understands retail life insurance and enjoys sophisticated admin, problem-solving and owning outcomes. Life insurance industry experience is essential. We provide significant training and support, but you will need a solid base knowledge of life insurance products, processes and terminology to be effective in the role. You will be responsible for: Claims & Escalations Acting as an escalation point for missed premiums, lapses and complex client queries. New Business & Workflow Management Overseeing new business flow and suspense tracking to ensure cases move efficiently through to completion. Monitoring outstanding requirements and driving them to resolution. Application & Advice Support Application Management: Completing and submitting insurance applications on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Insurance Summaries: Preparing clear, concise insurance summaries for client meetings and Statements of Advice. Review Pack Preparation: Preparing high-quality review packs and documentation ahead of client meetings. Underwriting Liaison: Communicating with insurance underwriters to request pre-assessments and assist in finalising cases. In-Force Quoting: Generating and comparing in-force policy quotes to support client and recommendations. CRM & Process Excellence CRM Data Entry: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date client records in our CRM with precision and confidentiality. Maintaining high service, compliance and quality standards in all work. Supporting team members and proactively identifying process and client experience improvement opportunities. Irregular onsite parking is available if required. About You You’ll thrive in this role if you: Have proven experience in the life insurance industry (advice practice, licensee or insurer – e.g. admin, new business, underwriting support, claims). Bring a substantial base level of life insurance knowledge, and are keen to build on it with further training. Enjoy owning complex cases and seeing them through to resolution. Have excellent attention to detail and are comfortable working with policies, forms and data. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, insurers and colleagues. Are confident working onsite, 5 days per week, as part of a close-knit, collaborative team. Are comfortable working in a growing business where initiative and continuous improvement are valued. Ideally you’ll also have: Experience in a specialist risk / life insurance advice environment. Solid understanding of underwriting, claims and in-force policy processes.
