Role Overview The First Nations Graduate role at Tilt Renewables offers a supportive and multifaceted opportunity to start your career in the renewable energy industry. Graduates will complete two rotations across selected functions, providing a broad range of experiences and opportunity for development. The rotations are designed to foster a deep understanding of development and corporate principles while ensuring you have the opportunity to develop essential practical skills. As part of the program, graduates will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, enhancing their communication and collaboration skills. Depending on your rotations, you will gain exposure to key stages of the project life cycle —from inception to completion providing a holistic view of the development and operation of renewable energy projects. This hands‑on experience is invaluable for cultivating a robust skill set tailored to the unique challenges and innovations within the renewable energy industry whilst setting your career up for success. Key Accountabilities Rotational Engagement Participate in structured rotations across functions such as Development, Engineering, Sustainability, Technology (IT & OT), Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy & Corporate Development, and other areas. Adapt to new teams, systems, and workflows in each rotation. Complete assigned projects and tasks within each rotation, contributing to team goals and deliverables. Project Support and Delivery Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of business projects aligned with Tilt Renewables’ strategic objectives. Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting to support decision‑making processes. Prepare presentations, briefing notes, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement Support engagement activities with First Nations communities and internal teams where appropriate. Sustainability and Innovation Contribute to sustainability initiatives, including environmental impact assessments, community benefit programs, and renewable energy education. Support innovation projects in technology and operations, including digital transformation and data‑driven solutions. Learning and Development Actively participate in training, mentoring, and development opportunities provided throughout the program. General Responsibilities Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to Tilt Renewables’ values. Comply with all workplace health and safety, environmental, and ethical standards. Perform other duties as reasonably required to support the success of the program and the business. Key Relationships This role will work closely with: Tilt Renewables stakeholders: Functions within the Corporate Affairs department Functions within the Operations department Members of the Senior Leadership team Finance department People & Culture Other internal stakeholders across the business as require Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria The program is only open to First Nations people who have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in 2024 or are set to complete in 2025. Additionally, those who are graduates from alternative education providers (Tafe and RTO) may also be eligible. This restriction on eligibility for this program is intended to constitute a special measure under subsection 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth).
