Position Description Resident Front Office Manager – Sovereign on the Gold Coast Sovereign on the Gold Coast is looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Resident Front Office Manager to join our team. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the front office, ensuring smooth guest experiences and efficient administrative support. Key responsibilities include: Managing daily banking and end‑of‑day reconciliation Overseeing guest check‑in and check‑out procedures, providing support to the front office team Coordinating bookings and managing third‑party reservations from platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, and Hotelbeds Maintaining and updating the property management system (RESLY), including owner and tenant details Processing rent receipts, generating invoices, and tracking payments accurately Preparing reports and documentation for mid and end‑of‑month processes Managing staff rosters, leave records, and shift planning Coordinating inventory and supply orders including stationery, luggage tags, and kiosk stock Responding professionally to reviews, enquiries, and communication from OTAs and guests Liaising with suppliers and contractors to support operational needs Providing after‑hours support to ensure guest comfort and safety when required Living in a recently refurbished apartment as part of the remuneration package What we're looking for: Career‑driven and eager to grow with Seabreeze Resorts as we expand across Queensland Proven experience in a front office leadership role within a busy hotel or resort environment Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, monitor revenue, and meet performance targets A demonstrated ability to support and implement business strategy and drive operational improvements A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and a calm, confident leadership style A genuine passion for guest service, with the ability to champion brand standards and team culture Confidence in managing third‑party bookings and payment reconciliation Relevant expertise in using PMS or reservation systems (familiarity with RESLY highly regarded) Current First Aid, CPR, and RSA certifications (well regarded) A full, unrestricted driver's licence Full working rights in Australia Why work with us: Sovereign is a trusted, long‑standing resort within the Seabreeze Resorts family.
