About the roleThe Director Operations Fraud Fusion leads the Fraud Fusion Taskforce (FFT) Intelligence Program on Commonwealth fraud, via the Fraud Fusion Centre (FFC). The FFT is a partnership between the National Disability Insurance Agency, Services Australia and 14 other government agencies including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, the Australian Federal Police and the ACIC. The FFC combines operational intelligence collection to identify threat entities, risks and vulnerabilities for Commonwealth fraud, and to provide strategic insights reporting to partner agencies and Government.
The Director Operations Fraud Fusion is responsible for leading teams in the collection, analysis and communication of intelligence concerning complex fraud against the Commonwealth Government by serious and organised criminal entities. The FFC sits within the ACIC Operational Strategy Branch, in the Intelligence Operations Division. Potential applicants should note the scope of the role may expand in future. The position is based in Canberra.
