Nursing Director - Intermediate Care Join to apply for the Nursing Director - Intermediate Care role at Department of Health, Tasmania. The Role Accountable and reports to the Executive Director of Nursing & Services, Home & Community, and operates under broad direction. Operates autonomously and exercises considerable initiative and professional judgment across the spectrum of responsibilities, as well as to judge when to seek advice or direction. Expected to maintain currency of knowledge in the area of responsibility to enable the identification and realisation of objectives in line with the Department of Health Strategic priorities. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic policy direction based on high level political, organisational and social awareness, utilising high level strategic, conceptual, analytical and creative skills. Demonstrated high level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, including demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate complex and sensitive issues effectively. Proven leadership qualities including demonstrated high levels of adaptability and flexibility. Details of appointment Permanent, full time, day worker working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible (hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant). Location Hobart, Tasmania Salary $177,412 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement. Allowances Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
