As our Hume Home Care program continues to grow, we’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and community‑minded individuals to join our supportive team, servicing Wangaratta, Benalla, and surrounding communities. What We’re Looking For We are currently seeking Home Care Domestic Support staff and Home Care Workers to join our team. These roles play an important part in helping older people remain safe, supported, and independent in their own homes, while monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns. Home Care Domestic Support No formal qualifications are required for this role. Instead, we look for people who bring genuine care, kindness, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. This role focuses on helping clients remain comfortable and independent in their own homes by providing domestic assistance and showing respect for each client’s preferences, cultural background, and values. Travelling between clients’ homes, you may provide assistance such as: Vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and general tidying Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas Home Care Worker The Home Care Worker role requires a qualification such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or an equivalent qualification). This varied role involves supporting clients with both personal care and household tasks to help them live safely and confidently at home. Travelling between clients’ homes, you may provide assistance such as: Personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Domestic duties, including vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and tidying, as well as cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and shared living areas Providing social support or transport to appointments, community activities, or assisting with other household duties Mandatory Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have or be willing to obtain the following: A nationally recognised Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification, including nursing students) A valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with insurance Current First Aid and CPR certifications A Working with Children Check (Employee) A National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check Up-to‑date vaccinations in accordance with Uniting AgeWell’s organisational policy Full Australian working rights How to Apply For more information, please contact the Recruitment Team at***********@unitingagewell.organdinclude the position title and location in your email.
