In this hands‑on role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional food service to patients and customers. You will: Prepare and serve meals and beverages in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards. Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of our cooks and chef. Deliver and collect menus, food trays, and beverages. Maintain cleanliness within the department in accordance with the Food Safety Plan and HACCP standards. Support the catering team with stock management and daily operations. About You To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and energetic team player with a strong focus on customer service. You will also bring: Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional manner. Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings. Experience in a hospital or commercial kitchen setting (highly regarded but not essential). Certificate II or III in Hospitality (desirable). Highly desirable: Previous experience in a hospital catering team.
