(Psychologists, Counsellors, Nurse Therapists, Mental Health Occupational Therapists and Creative Therapists) Abbotsford Private Hospital, part of the Aurora Healthcare Group, is located in West Leederville. We specialise in dual diagnosis treatment, providing comprehensive care for both substance addiction and mental health conditions. The hospital offers both inpatient and day patient group therapy. Due to an expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for additional therapists to join our growing Allied Health Team to primarily facilitate group therapeutic activities to assigned patients and to participate in group therapy activities as directed by the Therapy Manager. Qualifications Current registration with the AHPRA, ACA or PACFA Current National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check Previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary team Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience working with co‑morbid and addictions mental health issues A team player with the ability to work autonomously Excellent rapport building and communication skills Sound computer literacy Key Responsibilities Deliver group therapy whilst providing a variety of therapeutic based approaches Provide peer support / supervision to team members including nursing and social workers to facilitate appropriate patient and program outcomes Work with psychiatrists, nurses and allied health team members to provide the highest patient care and outcomes including effective mechanisms for discharge planning Benefits Attractive remunerationFlexibility with hour/daysOpportunity to utilize rooms at Abbotsford Psychiatry to establish own private practice with an excellent source of referralsExcellent team culture that encompasses respect, trust, commitment and open communication Your application must demonstrate your suitability to this role by addressing the key responsibilities of the position in a cover letter.
