About the role This is a hands-on Database and Systems Administrator position within a defence‑aligned, high‑security environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising mission‑critical databases and server infrastructure that underpin some of Australia’s most important technology ecosystems. The role is evenly split between database administration and systems engineering — managing PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments, ensuring operational stability across Windows and Linux systems, and supporting secure, compliant infrastructure performance. You’ll collaborate with senior engineering and leadership teams to deliver resilient, high‑availability solutions while adhering to strict cybersecurity and compliance standards.
