Overview The successful candidate will focus on maintaining and sustaining Treasury's database environment, including on-premises and cloud hosted. The Treasury is looking for a skilled resource that will play a key role in ensuring DBA project deliverables are met. The resource will have the ability to work across multiple work packages both on a project and a business-as-usual team. Technical Capability The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working as a database administrator. The candidate will have the ability to quickly adapt to the Treasury environment. The successful candidate will work to the direction of the project manager as well as: Deliver work packages to support multiple projects developing relevant documentation including handover to BAU, SoPs, detailed designs and high-level designs. (as time permits) providing on the job training and knowledge transfer to other Treasury staff to support internal capability uplift. Experience Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related field and/or equivalent experience as a database administrator (8+ years). Experience administering SQL Server, from legacy SQL Server 2012 to all versions of SQL Server in the Azure cloud. TSQL and powershell scripting experience Experience with on-premises high availability clusters Experience migrating databases between different versions of SQL Server Experience with Commvault backup and restore Experience with SAS Grid or SAS Viya is desirable but not essential Effective team player, and good communicator. Address each selection criteria in detail. Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related field and/or equivalent experience as a database administrator (8+ years). Experience administering SQL Server, from legacy SQL Server 2012 to all versions of SQL Server in the Azure cloud.
