orking directly with the Health and Safety team and closely with the HR team touching on all aspects of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, specifically guiding the Injury Management processes.In this role you will oversee Return To Work cases and implementing robust rehabilitation plans, while developing and executing the overall national Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy. You will also be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims and strategy, liasing with insurers, and collaborating with State Managers and operational leaders.The opportunity based at our South Melbourne Support Office…Coordinate Injury Management (Return to Work) processes including workers compensation, return to work and rehabilitation across the company (AUS & NZ)Strategic management of injuries and claims portfolioEnsure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies and proceduresLiaise with respective managers and team members to assist them with Injury Management and claim processes and initiativesDevelopment and drive of injury and claims management initiatives and report on injury trendsMaintain and manage relevant reporting, analysis, data and statistics; develop reports, and provide project updatesProviding support and guidance to all stakeholders within the company to ensure that safe working procedures are adhered to with a focus on continuing improvementYou will be a dynamic, positive and solutions focused person. If you have the below experience, we would love to hear from you5 years min experience in Return to Work, Injury Management is essential.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of compensation schemes with the ability to interpret and apply associated legislation.Proven leadership and people management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication and collaborative relationship building skills.Able to provide authoritative, specialist advice and expertise to all levels within an organisation.Ability to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes.Working knowledge & understanding of Solv Injury will be advantageous.Qualifications in Return to Work, Workplace Health and Safety as well as experience in an injury management are essential.Ability to be adaptable and flexible in a changing environment with the ability to work autonomously.Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills – including ability to provide coaching, training, and advice to your direct team and all levels of the organisation.Time Management and personal organisational skills alongside being able to effectively prioritise workloads for you and your team.On occasion some travel to our Ballarat office and other site locations will be requiredIf this is the opportunity you’ve been looking for and you love Pets as much as we do, we would love to hear from youFollow us on LinkedIn to keep up to date on life across our various brands -
