SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER (SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA) Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Bridgeford Group is expanding in Sydney, and we’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who wants to be part of that growth. What You’ll Be Doing Produce and review engineering calculations, documentation and specifications. Work closely with electrical, hydraulic, fire and sustainability teams. Carry out site inspections, commissioning support and defect reporting. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners. Support bids and new project opportunities as the Sydney workload grows. Mentor junior engineers and help build a strong, supportive team culture. Ensure compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and internal QA processes. What You Bring Mechanical Engineering degree. 7–10+ years’ experience in building services. Ideally at Senior or Associate level. Existing client relationships. Experience across commercial and health sectors. Strong HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge. Experience coordinating across disciplines. Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, CAMEL, IES or similar tools. Experience mentoring or guiding junior staff. Chartered (or working towards it) is welcomed but not essential. Who This Suits Wants to step up into more technical or team leadership.
