Responsible for strategically managing various aspects of McMahon Services’ projects from project contract award, through to the execution and close-out, the Senior Project Manager will effectively manage people and processes to deliver a series of projects on time, within budget, and with the desired outcomes aligned to the company’s objectives. This role maintains a strong relationship with the clients and contractors ensuring sustainable collaboration.Work Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities will include :
Monitor and review progress reports and ensure staffing and financial schedules align with the project.Review subcontractors and support contracts management.Manage contractors and other project vendors and services suppliers.Prepare RFI, Notices of Delay, Variations and EOT submissions and submit progress claims as per individual project contractual terms and conditions.Request and prepare Subcontract Agreements and manage/review retention releases.Review and approve supplier/subcontractor invoices, including capturing retention to be held.Supervise review processes to ensure subcontractor compliance.Ensure warranty and dispute claims for the project are addressed and legislative and regulatory compliance is followed.Manage project team for effective project delivery to plan, budget and WHSEQ outcomes.Manage and monitor cost control against budget and productivity against project plan.Ensure systems, processes and project tools are in place to identify significant project delivery risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Demonstrated 10 years experience in major construction/infrastructure project delivery preferably in the Civil Engineering space.Experience in Contract administration, construction scheduling and cost/cash flow management.Strong problem-solving skills and time-management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Proficient in project management suite of software (e.g., Microsoft Professional suite, MS Project, Primavera), ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, Oracle e-business) and project management platforms (e.g., InEight, Aconex, Procore).Have strong Leadership, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.Have a good understanding of Australian Standards (AS).Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.What We Offer:
