North West Hospital and Health Service (HHS) Unique locations Friendly communities Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentives About The Role As the Ward Administrator / NUM Support Officer, you'll play an integral role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), clinical teams, and the wider department. Working within a 7:00am–3:30pm span, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality administrative, clerical, and organisational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a safe, efficient healthcare environment. Provide daily administrative support to the Nurse Unit Manager, including emails, filing, submitting forms, and completing checklists. Coordinate and manage office requirements such as stationery orders, equipment maintenance, and repairs. Maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment, discretion, and accountability in all tasks. Prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines and department expectations. Prepare agendas, meeting papers, and record accurate minutes for theatre and management meetings. Enter and manage operating theatre bookings, including emergency and late additions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Requirements Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded including Certificate III in Business or similar.
