Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will bring: Experience in sales , particularly within the commercial construction or fit‑out sector, commercial real estate, or related sectors, including roles focused on sales, design development, or project management. Solid connections within the medical industry. Knowledge of construction, town planning, or architecture . You’ll be able to discuss the buildability and permissibility of a client’s concept. Proven expertise in managing and nurturing high‑level client relationships , with a track record of success in client‑facing environments. Mastery of lead management processes , with the ability to prioritise and capitalise on strategic opportunities whilst managing multiple matters and clients. A strong commitment to exceptional customer engagement , delivering value by collaborating strategically and fostering lasting relationships. Exceptional presentation and communication skills , with the ability to clearly articulate business USPs and strengths, effectively influencing target clients and capitalising on emerging opportunities. Resilience and superior problem‑solving skills. Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently , while still interacting effectively within the BD / Client Relationships team and with our multi‑disciplinary design team. Some travel will be required as part of the role, including to our Head Office in the Illawarra. A competitive base salary will apply, with the opportunity for commission based on new business.
