About The Role The Junior Sales Executive will be responsible for marketing, selling and delivering exceptional customer service to customers and travel stakeholders within Australia and New Zealand. Their outstanding customer service skills will help to actively contribute to the achievement of the organisation's sales targets. Joining the Experiential Journeys family, you will play an integral role in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests. Responsibilities B2B Business Development Follow up with Australian and New Zealand tour operators/travel agents with the aim of securing firm business. Support in achieving sales targets for Sri Lanka, India, and the Maldives. Meet quarterly targets. Commit to open communication with marketing offices, agents and direct clients, setting clear and definitive expectations, with an aim of same‑day to 24‑hour turnaround. Partner with the Business Development Manager to deliver tailored travel solutions as required. Achieve sales targets by converting inquiries generated through the website and social media into confirmed bookings. Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent customer service standard and approach. Business Promotion & Development Support the Business Development Manager to help grow the company’s business promotion/development initiatives. This could include research on particular travel products, helping to organise a promotional event, calling agents, etc. What we’re looking for 1+ years experience working in the Travel Industry. Demonstrated sales skills and knowledge of sales principals. Exceptional organisation and time management skills. Self‑motivation, resilient and determined. Committed to the highest level of customer service. High degree of attention to detail. Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal. A team player is a must with an enthusiastic approach to the job. Willingness to take on challenges. Experience with CRM systems such as Monday.com.
