As an independent practitioner, you'll enjoy the flexibility of organising your work, setting your own fees, and deciding how much to work. At ALY'S PLACE, you'll have access to a modern, beautiful space equipped with useful resources for your clients, including card decks, a whiteboard, stationery, worksheets, and other amenities. What will you be doing? Holding space for couples, families and individuals using a variety of methodologies such as Emotion Focused Therapy or the Gottman Method. Providing and directing counselling interventions using your knowledge, education, intuition, and presence. Answering client questions, managing existing client bookings and collecting payments. Attending team meetings and professional development sessions. What is expected of you? Availability for private practice 1-3 days per week. ACA or PACFA professional membership and registration with available private health funds. Adhere to the standard ethical guidelines of your counselling registration; such as regular supervision, own insurance, best practices. Appear professional, warm, and welcoming. Dedication and commitment to your personal and professional learning and development. Tertiary qualification in Counselling or similar. Australian citizenship or permanent residency status required. Master's qualification in Counselling, Social Work or similar, with at least 2 years of clinical experience. Experience and desire to work with children under 12 years old.
