We are looking for a junior, early career level Drafter to join our current group of passionate engineers, designers and project managers. This role will be Newcastle based. Key Responsibilities Import & manipulate vendor drawings/models Collaborate with the design engineers to deliver concept and detailed design models and drawings Support project teams with documentation, revisions and coordination of models and drawings. Maintaining design templates and drawing standards About you you’ll be seeking fulfilment through autonomy, career flexibility, and working for a business that provides purpose and relevance in what you do. With outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes, you’ll have experience working in a consulting environment, delivering projects as part of a multi‑disciplinary and multi‑office team. Qualifications Enrolled in or have completed a relevant TAFE qualification: Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or Certificate IV/Diploma in Civil Construction Design Skills and experience Experience with CAD software Familiarity with technical drawings Strong attention to detail Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team Mindset and behaviours Safety‑first, risk‑based approach to all design delivery Commitment to working safely within the company’s HSEQ systems Enthusiastic and motivated to learn from peers and senior team members Interest or experience in water and wastewater treatment or pipeline design What we offer Flexibility & Wellbeing: We recognise that achieving a work‑life balance is unique to everyone.
