About Us: Dans Plants is a well-established and thriving nursery located in the heart of Heatherton, Victoria. We take pride in offering a wide variety of plants and decorative pots to our valued customers. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Dispatch Team Leader to join our team. Job Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for the daily packing of stock for one of our largest customers – loading plants onto trolleys and trucks with accuracy and care. Ensuring all paperwork relating to stock movement and orders is completed in a timely manner and accurate. Ensuring all stock is ready and dispatched on time (in line with allocated schedules). Managing a small team to ensure KPI’s and deadlines are met. Operating a forklift for moving large items and heavy loads. Ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and labelled correctly. Ensure only plants that meet our high standards are dispatched. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe dispatch area. Requirements: Team leader experience in a fast-paced, high-volume dispatch environment (minimum 2 years). Experience managing associated paperwork and documentation with accuracy and efficiency. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Transport to Heatherton, as public transport is limited in the area. Experience in a nursery setting or an interest in horticulture is highly preferred, but not essential. Salary: Annual salary and incentives of up to $90,000 on offer for the right candidate.
