Dispatch Assistant Team Leader (Day Shift) About the Role A fantastic opportunity is available to join Viewscape Pty Ltd , one of Australia’s largest window furnishings manufacturers, based in Bayswater. With approximately 130 employees, we pride ourselves on offering long‑term job stability and a supportive team environment. We are seeking a Dispatch Assistant Team Leader to support our day‑shift operations (7:30am–3:36pm). The ideal candidate will be reliable, motivated, and eager to secure a long‑term, full‑time position. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Dispatch Team Leader in day‑to‑day operations Labelling freight Managing paperwork Assembling and packing boxes with custom‑made products Loading boxes and stillages onto trucks using a forklift Completing invoicing and basic administrative tasks Maintaining a clean and organised work area Ensuring safe work practices at all times What We’re Looking For Proven experience leading or supporting a small team Great attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic Physically fit — able to lift, push, and pull up to 20kg High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Team‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced environment Good manual handling and safety awareness First Aid certificate preferred Requirements Current forklift licence (essential) Strong computer and communication skills Fluent in spoken and written English with good numeracy skills Previous dispatch or warehouse experience (preferred) Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Training will be provided, and ongoing support is available to help you succeed in the role.
