I’m currently seeking a highly motivated accounts officer for growing tiling & timber flooring company in Australia. This role will report to and support the Finance Manager and work as a close partner within the Project Team. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Debtor management and collections where required Co‑ordinating and scheduling payments for approved invoices ready for payment Responding to supplier enquiries and resolving discrepancies to ensure timely payments Performing regular reconciliations of creditor statements, resolve creditor queries, and updating creditor details as required to ensure accuracy and compliance Managing company credit card payments and credit notes Employee expense reimbursements Strong attention to detail with accuracy in data entry Accurately coding invoices and scanning paper‑based documents into the accounting system Assisting with various support tasks, including handling remittances A proactive attitude – willing to help out where needed Work closely with project team and provide support wherever required from project team Inventory control and other admin tasks Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in an Accounts Payable/Receivable, finance administration role Strong working knowledge of all MS Office Suites High level of accuracy and attention to detail in completing tasks and maintaining financial records Possess sound numerical and analytical skills Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and work under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling you to confidently engage with staff members and external clients and associates Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage your workload whilst prioritising multiple tasks to meet deadlines Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a collaborative team Demonstrated initiative and problem‑solving skills Excellent phone manner, along with an understanding of the importance of great customer service Experience in a similar role Demonstrable experience in office administration, customer service and accounts Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong oral and written communication & time management skills Advanced data entry, Excel, Word and proficiency Personal Attributes Great team player with strong interpersonal skills Always looks for opportunities to do things better A positive attitude with the flexibility to take on additional tasks when required Ability to work to deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks Frest start in 2026 and providing growth in your career path. #J-18808-Ljbffr
