Operations Lead, Warburton Bike Park

As the Operations Lead at Warburton Bike Park, you'll lead the operational delivery of a world‑class mountain biking destination. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new business unit from the ground up, overseeing shuttle services, ticketing, customer service, trail maintenance, and business operations. You’ll bring a passion for mountain biking, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex operations in dynamic environments. Your work will directly contribute to community wellbeing, economic development, and environmental sustainability. This is a permanent full‑time position (38 hours per week). The role includes participation in an after‑hours and weekend duty roster. Experience & Skills We’re Looking For Extensive experience in operational leadership within outdoor recreation, tourism, or related industries. Strong understanding of mountain bike trail design, maintenance, and visitor safety. Proven ability to manage environmental compliance and risk in natural settings. Experience developing business systems such as shuttle services, ticketing, and digital platforms. Ability to build and lead high‑performing teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership development skills. Degree in Park Management, Recreation, Business, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
